Air Force ROTC Student Support

The Air Force ROTC Student Support Fund helps University of Utah cadets develop the leadership skills, military knowledge, and understanding of national security needed to become effective officers in the United States Air Force and Space Force. Through rigorous academic coursework, physical training, and mentorship, cadets learn to lead with character, integrity, and a commitment to service.

While pursuing their degrees, Air Force ROTC students balance demanding academic responsibilities with military training that prepares them for future leadership roles in both air and space operations. These experiences help shape confident, capable officers who are prepared to make critical decisions, inspire others, and serve in an increasingly complex global environment.

Your generosity plays a vital role in helping cadets succeed. Although some upper-level cadets receive Air Force scholarships, the majority of freshmen and sophomores receive little or no scholarship support from the Air Force during the early years of their education. Gifts to the Air Force ROTC Student Support Fund help bridge that gap, providing resources that allow cadets to focus on their academic and leadership development rather than financial concerns.

By supporting these dedicated students, you are investing in future leaders who embody the Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all they do. Your gift helps create opportunities for cadets to grow as scholars, leaders, and public servants while strengthening the future of our nation’s Air Force and Space Force.

Every contribution makes a difference in the lives of cadets working toward a career of service. Together, we can help develop the next generation of officers prepared to lead with honor, courage, and purpose. Thank you for your support!
