We are committed to inspiring the next generation of engineers. Our outreach programs are tailored to reach elementary, junior high, and high school students, encouraging them to consider a future in engineering.
We believe that the best way to ignite a passion for engineering is by providing students with a firsthand experience of what it’s like to be in a collegiate program. That’s why we involve current engineering students as much as possible. They serve as mentors and role models, sharing their enthusiasm and expertise with others.
We are also committed to equal opportunity in engineering. We recognize that underserved groups face unique challenges in pursuing a career in this field. That’s why we have several programs that are specifically designed to reach out to these groups. Through these programs, we aim to provide access and opportunities to those who may not have otherwise considered engineering as a career path.

A Donor-Advised Fund offers the opportunity to create an easy-to-establish, low cost, flexible vehicle for charitable giving as an alternative to direct giving or to creating a private foundation. This is accomplished by first establishing a DAF with an irrevocable donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program. The donor then recommends the allocation of the donated assets to a qualified public charity (such as the University of Utah).
