In memory of Dr. Judy Watts Brady—a devoted adjunct professor in the College of Social Work, a talented psychotherapist, and a leader in public mental health care—this endowed fund supports a scholarship for MSW students and an annual award recognizing excellence in teaching by contract faculty.
Through education, research, and community engagement, the College of Social Work advances the transformation of policies, practice, and interventions to alleviate human suffering, enhance well-being, and promote social justice.
The University of Utah College of Social Work, established in 1937, is a leader in social work education in the Intermountain West. The College offers students an inclusive and challenging learning environment where students are encouraged to collaborate with faculty, peers, and community partners in analyzing and resolving critical social problems.

A Donor-Advised Fund offers the opportunity to create an easy-to-establish, low cost, flexible vehicle for charitable giving as an alternative to direct giving or to creating a private foundation. This is accomplished by first establishing a DAF with an irrevocable donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program. The donor then recommends the allocation of the donated assets to a qualified public charity (such as the University of Utah).
