The UMFA’s Collections and Conservation Department conserves, protects, and cares for over 22,000 fine art objects in the Museum’s permanent collection. They also handle the installation and de-installation of traveling exhibitions and rotate permanent collection pieces in the galleries.
Your gift to the Ann K. Stewart Docent Conservation Fund supports these efforts. Established in 2006 in memory of Ann K. Stewart, the fund is managed by the UMFA Docent Council and has helped conserve over 25 significant artworks for future generations.

A Donor-Advised Fund offers the opportunity to create an easy-to-establish, low cost, flexible vehicle for charitable giving as an alternative to direct giving or to creating a private foundation. This is accomplished by first establishing a DAF with an irrevocable donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program. The donor then recommends the allocation of the donated assets to a qualified public charity (such as the University of Utah).
