Curie Club

Curie Club

Curie Club was founded to help ensure that all scientists are given the opportunity to help shape the future. Curie Club hosts stimulating lectures, career development support, and lively debates to support and inspire the next generation of scientists.

A century ago, Marie Curie became the first scientist ever to win two Nobel Prizes. Her spectacular scientific career was achieved despite the obligations of family, extreme prejudice against women, a relentless search for research funding, and the constant battle for recognition that was her due.

Funds can support the creation of the Curie U Chemistry Graduate Fellowships, the Curie Endowed Chair, or other programs that build and retain a community of belonging in our department. Curie Club will promote student success and support the quality and strength of scientific research and the U Chemistry’s outstanding contribution to science.
