Dr. Jenna Rosenberg Johns Endowed Fellowship in Center for Global Surgery

Through her compassionate spirit, Dr. Jenna Rosenberg Johns fostered deep empathy for people across the globe and in her own community. She was a graduate of the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah, devoting her fellowship year in the Center for Global Surgery to volunteering in Mongolia to help develop cost-effective surgical care.

Jenna was tragically lost on May 5, 2018, but her legacy lives on through the Dr. Jenna Rosenberg Johns Endowed Fellowship in the Center for Global Surgery. This endowed fellowship supports students pursuing global surgery through research, education, and hands-on international experiences—ensuring the next generation of leaders continues the work Jenna so passionately championed.

Your gift directly fuels the center’s mission to support future fellows who are advancing safe, accessible surgical care for communities in need around the world.

Thank you for helping us carry forward Jenna’s vision and commitment to global surgical care.
