Emergency Medicine Residency Gift Fund

Emergency Medicine Residency Gift Fund

This Emergency Medicine Residency Gift Fund is used to support educational training and team-building activities for the residency program in the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah. This fund will directly support residents’ educational materials, research/academic endeavors, rural/global health rotation opportunities, social/street medicine rotation opportunities, specialty training, didactics, and wellness programs. It also supports residency recruitment events and future alumni events.

The University of Utah Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency Program aims to train emergency physicians who possess the skills and knowledge they need to practice independently. Central to this goal is to develop their competence in the initial recognition, evaluation, resuscitation, and stabilization of acute illness and injury in all patients. The program also strives to advance the field of emergency medicine by producing meaningful research contributions and promoting the specialty at the local, regional, and national level.
