College of Social Work Faculty-sponsored Student Award Fund

College of Social Work Faculty-sponsored Student Award Fund

Through education, research, and community engagement, the College of Social Work advances the transformation of policies, practice, and interventions to alleviate human suffering, enhance well-being, and promote social justice.

The faculty has established a program to provide support awards to graduating students who have demonstrated exceptional promise in the field of social work. These awards serve to recognize the hard work and dedication of these students, and to encourage them to continue pursuing their passions in the profession. By investing in these students, the College of Social Work is helping to ensure the continued success and growth of the profession and the betterment of society.

The University of Utah College of Social Work, established in 1937, is a leader in social work education in the Intermountain West. The College offers students an inclusive and challenging learning environment where students are encouraged to collaborate with faculty, peers, and community partners in analyzing and resolving critical social problems.

Utah needs more social workers—and social work students need financial assistance. Thus, scholarship support for our bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students is a high priority for the College.
