The University of Utah’s Second Language Teaching and Research Center (L2TReC) is a hub for advancing second language acquisition through research, pedagogy, and community outreach. Housed in the College of Humanities, the Center supports educators and learners across K–16 by coordinating statewide dual language initiatives, hosting workshops and events on language teaching and assessment, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among language scholars. L2TReC also promotes innovation in language education through curriculum development, immersion research, and student supported projects, serving as a key resource for strengthening foreign language learning in Utah and beyond.

A Donor-Advised Fund offers the opportunity to create an easy-to-establish, low cost, flexible vehicle for charitable giving as an alternative to direct giving or to creating a private foundation. This is accomplished by first establishing a DAF with an irrevocable donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program. The donor then recommends the allocation of the donated assets to a qualified public charity (such as the University of Utah).
