The Apfelbaum Neurosurgery Resident Research Fund

The Apfelbaum Neurosurgery Resident Research Fund

The Apfelbaum Neurosurgery Resident Research Fund was established to support residents in the Department of Neurosurgery and defray costs during their two years of research in the program. The fund provides partial financial support to further the department’s mission of training neurosurgical leaders and researchers.

Neurosurgery residents are highly valued in the Department of Neurosurgery. Our program offers residents the opportunity to acquire knowledge and techniques they will use in their future practices and prepares them for future roles in neurosurgical leadership.

Neurosurgery residents dedicate years four and five of their postgraduate training to one of the following research tracks: basic and translational science; clinical investigation and practice science; education, service, policy, and equity, diversity, and inclusion.
